PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Hudson United Recreational soccer program is comprised of kids, teens and adults that live in Hudson and surrounding communities. This program is for the soccer player that wants to have fun, make new friends and keep fit. There are no tryouts for recreational soccer. Players are placed on teams according to their age for developmental soccer and their grade for the youth and teen leagues. There are three 9 week sessions available starting the end of August and ending the end of April. Many players choose to participate in all 3 sessions. The first session is played outdoors at Barlow Farm Park in Hudson starting in late August. The other 2 sessions are played indoors at NC Soccer in Hudson between early November and late April. All games are played once a week on Saturdays. Game times are based on the number of teams that register for each session. The program is divided into the following groups:
Developmental Soccer
The Developmental Program is designed to introduce kids to soccer in a fun, safe and educational environment. There are 3 divisions based on age:

Youth/Teen Leagues
The Youth/Teen players are not required to tryout and every player will play at least 50 percent of all games. The coaches are parent volunteers that lead their team through a short warm-up/practice and then a game against another team. During the Fall Outdoor Session at Barlow Farm Park, the warm-up/practice and game last 90 minutes. During the Indoor Sessions at NC Soccer, the warm-up/practice and game last 60 minutes. The coaches during the Fall Session may offer additional practices during the week. Certified teen referees oversee the youth games. Certified adult referees oversee the high school games.
